Should I add them to my cart and checkout as soon as the timer reaches 0?
no. jump on it as fast as you can. if you miss it, join the waitlist, and then check back ~15 min. A bunch of people 'click first, think about later'.

I got in on the Ewok set, Mine Truck and picked up the Pod Racers. I debated on not ordering the Pod Racers for 10 min or so! But I finally checked out. I'm not interested in anything else until the fire rescue truck.

After losing out on the Ewok Attack, I was hovering my mouse pointer over where the Add to Cart button would appear as the timer counted down to zero. I had already decided what my strike price would be, so that I wouldn't have to hesitate before buying. It took a few seconds for the button and price to appear, but I was still able to get one. Actually, since it just puts it into your cart, you're probably better off clicking the button immediately no matter what the price is and then you have ten minutes or so to decide whether you really want it at that price.

I think I'm done for today. Big thanks to TNB for the heads up on this one today!

That will not work. You have to claim the deal through the Lightning Deals dashboard. It will not impact any item already in your cart.

For those unfamiliar with how Lightning Deals work, this is not all of the stock Amazon has. It's just a portion that was set aside for this specific sale. Sometimes they go quick, sometimes they drag on.

If you think this this bad, wait until next week when they start the video game deals.

Will these be the only Lego deals they offer?

It took almost an hour to sell out, so I suspect it will be available again for even less (50% off or more) sometime between now and the Jan clearance sales.
