[USA] Wal-Mart 60% off LEGO City The Mine Set

I picked up a couple at my local wal-mart on Sunday.
I stopped by Target yesterday and I took a stroll down the Lego aisle and the spot where the Mine would be was empty. I wonder if there were a number of price matches.....

I feel like something that happens on this site far too often is people (either out of jealous, oblivious parade raining, or just to let everyone know their opinion) express why a deal that many find to be very good is not as good as they think. I went through this exact thing on a recent post regarding kings castle at Barnes an noble. I really just wonder why people insist on contributing to a sale/deal post with their opinion. Isn't the point to point out deals an just confirm them? If you don't like the set, don't read/contribute to the posted topic.

By that same logic, any post in this thread other than a confirmation of a sale should be moved into it's own. You people need to lighten up and realize this is FIRST AND FOREMOST a Lego COMMUNITY website.... not just a sales website... if you're looking for sales with no discussion go to SD.

I had bought this for $72 at Target a few weeks ago. It's the ONE THING my son wants for his b'day.

Just bought another for $40 at Target (price matched with some hemming and hawing). Going to return to $72 one. :)

Went to a Walmart in CT and they had none, so picked up a flyer and drove to Target. They had plenty so grabbed one set and went to customer service. They price matched with no problem.

I wanted to thank the original person who mentioned price matching at Target...I didn't hear about this until Tuesday, my stores were gutted for about a 35-mile radius at both Walmart and Target, but I found one at a Target further south in another state and picked it up there with price match. A wish list item for my youngest whose birthday is in 2 weeks. I never would have thought about Target without the nudge, so thank you.

BTW, TRU of course is supposed to be price matching, but wouldn't.
