I can't get it to stay the $119. When I go to check out it bumps up to $159.

Hmm, maybe close your browser and delete your cache? I had to try several times to update to $119.41 in my cart. I have no idea why Walmart.com prices are so jumpy. I hope the new price will eventually hit $119 (but I can't be sure, so I wanted to let the readers here know, just in case).

P.S. the Fire Brigade is showing in-stock again at $118. (edit - out of stock again)

Is the cargo train worth it just for the train tracks themselves? I don't own any train sets, but in do plan on getting the Horizon Express and would like to motorize it.

I think it's a great set, and for $118, it's fantastic. It includes the most track of any set plus 2 switches. I once thought I would cannibalize it for my Maersk, but I couldn't bring myself to do it because it's a cool looking engine, so I just got the extra motorized parts.

anyone elses later orders ship yet, i am not talking about when this sale first went live, but days later when the items popped in and out of stock

my orders have been processing for 2-3 days now

I had an order of 4 PS over the weekend that sat for a couple of days. Notified today that two had shipped and two were on backorder. Yet, this thread says that PS came back into stock after the backorder email.

All of my modular orders have shipped (last ordered a few days ago). I'm sorry to hear some are going on backorder.

I noticed all of the modulars just jumped back up in price at Walmart.com $149 - $160 (all OOS), wonder if they will stay there.

With this kind of sale in early October, I wonder what Black Friday will bring. Are Lego retail prices and small percent decreases no longer the norm? Was there a Lego inflation bubble, and has it burst? What could explain these very early, pre-holiday fire sales from Walmart, Amazon, et al?

There's at least one Tower Bridge for $194 online right now. I had it in my cart, and then decided I didn't need it (even though it's a great deal), and removed it. Hope one of you gets it.

It looks like the party is mostly over, of the exclusives are back to regular price, and the few things that are on sale are not as deeply discounted
