I picked up the game from Amazon France, shipped to the states and my son loves it. Buy it if you can.

I have yet been able to get something shipped from Amazon.fr to me in the USA, what is the trick?

Not too sure, Toys N Bricks had A story about two month back directing you to the amazon France link and it allowed for shipping to the US via DHL. I paid and it took about two weeks to arrive.

Can't tell you much more than that, it worked and we've enjoyed the game.

I bought dozens of the micro Snowtroopers and Rebels from Bricklink. It cost a lot, but it was cheaper than buying all the sets necessary to make a considerable army. Of course, I could have made money if I had time and space to part out the rest.

I wish Amazon France had the LEGO Friends Advent calendar. There is no way for me to get to a LEGO store and the eBay prices are crazy. Amazon UK won't ship it. Bricklink has fair price, but shipping will probably kill it.

Looks like they are going for $40-55 right now on ebay, so I wouldn't call that crazy. With tax and gas to even a close Lego store, you're likely at $40-$45 anyway.

A month from now they will top $100, so dive in while the diving's good.

One more thing, if you call a Lego store that has it (and they still have it, you may have to call a few), they can ship it to you. The cost is anywhere from $6.95 and up depending on what you buy, so it might be worth it to bite the shipping cost bullet to get this soon-to-be-insanely-expensive set.

I just tried amazon fr and they will still ship this game, but not other sets? wierd. It is 30EU though so it is not cheap.

I went and did a search and it was the June 28th or 30th update on Toys N Bricks:

"The European exclusive LEGO Star Wars Battle of Hoth game is also finally on sale at Amazon France for €28,07. There’s better prices at Amazon UK and Italy, but they don’t ship worldwide. As the set is not available for purchase in North America, this might be a good time to pick it up with the 16.4% tax discount and low Euro exchange rate. Don’t forget if you live in America, you won’t get taxed as well!"


Of the four Lego "games" we own, this is the best and most played with by far.
