Ah, that is one that I sometimes go to. Not too far from my work.
I have occasionally found stuff at the Wal-Mart across the street.

I never seem to hit that Wal-Mart at the right time. Everything's always 30% off for ages and then they're gone.

Wow. They let me use both the 10% and the $5 off. No free shipping, but the total was $102.56

JACKPOT!!!!! $0.76 S6 minifigs! I was lucky a man told me that they were marking them down, or else I would of have bought them at MSRP. Only picked up 15, I needed a few to complete my collection and got 3 roman soldiers.
In the end, I'm only missing the Flamenco Dancer to complete my set. I felt her like 4 times in a row.

Congrats on that find! I would have taken what ever I could for that price. I mean 50 would have been $38. I shouldn't have done the math- now I feel angry! (just kidding)
I usually find the random clearance packet 2 months after for 2.48.

Thanks guys, There were 3 cases and 2 of them were felt through. But the 3rd one seemed to be new. I wanted to get a full case, but already spent too much on LEGO this month so I limited myself. :-/ Would of have been nice to get some more.

Is tomorrow going to be the big clearance day? I seem to recall last year that they cleared the store of all clearance on the last Thursday in July. My guess is no since the clearance cycle seems to be stretched out longer this year. None of the stores near me have consolidated the clearance into aisles as usual.

I would check today and tomorrow. Historically, Thursday is toy update for stores, but I got burnt last year by Wednesday changes.

Great find. I don't have a store close but I may have to take a trip for a chance in that.

I am getting a little worried that this round of clearance is really going to suck. I have been writing down where items were in stock/limited stock and some of the stores where I saw these items earlier today just changed over to not sold at this store! Several items also just went to online only at target.com. Usually when stores go to not sold at this store that means it is now salvage and out of the system. QAR, BP, HP Forbidden Forest are just a few that I saw just do this (with the QAR & HP Forbidden Forest go to online only) at places I was just at 9pm tonight. Let's hope at least a few items go to 50% & 70% and not just to salvage.

This happened last clearance. I was trying to track down items online so I didn't have to drive all over town to find them and they all went to online only. Luckily, the stores still had them. I think they just take them out of the online system when they start to clearance them out. Hopefully this still holds true this time. Lets cross our fingers.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?
