This week from July 8-14, Toys R Us United States will be offering a free Ninjago Hidden Sword with purchases above $20 and a free Project Case with purchases above $60.

Perhaps, the only stuff worth getting would be the two new LEGO Friends sets that are $11.99 each (Olivia's Speedboat and Andrea's Bunny House). They're overpriced by 20%, but you get a free Ninjago Hidden Sword polybag ($3.99 value). So in the end, you get to buy all 3 sets (including the polybag) for regular price without Toys R Us markups. This sure is a great sale!

I might finally spring for one of the many City of Atlantis that have been sitting there at 30% off. Just weird to still see that much Atlantis on the shelves beside green Ninjago, LotR, and MF.

Actually the City of Atlantis is not 30%. Everywhere else was selling it at 70 while TRU jacked the price up to 80. So at 55, it is still not a good deal.
I am amazed that people still buy stuff overpriced at TRU unless they are stuck with a giftcard.

two of the stores I go to in the Dallas Fort Worth area have a different version of this sale.

When you spend over 20 dollars you get the S6 or S7 mini free, and over 60 you get a free "collector's case" but I am not sure which "case" they are speaking of...

Anyway, as usual TRU is not really worth buying at. I still go to be able to feel out which CMFs I am buying - even at 30 cents more, its better than wasting 3 bucks on a random from S@H.

I was able to make a deal work for me at TRU. The TIE Interceptor Planet set (marked up 10%) is "25%" off bringing it down to $8.24. I had a $10 off $100 coupon. I got 12 TIE Interceptors plus a Batman poly as filler. Saw the promo for the Hidden Sword, but wasn't aware of the promo for the project case (missed out on that).

I essentially got the TIE Fighters for $8 each (after tax). Not a great deal, but best thing I've seen since I missed out on the overstock deal. I figure I need to grab these soon with the new planets coming out. I have 21 total which is good for 7 squads of 3.

My local TRU did not have the Hidden sword poly as a promo. They offered Free series 7 CMF with 20.00 purchase, Free project case with 60.00 purchase and then some battleship kre-o.

I found the new star wars there Saturday. They had the Desert skiff and Saesee Tinn starfighter. While I know the starfighter is nothing super new. I love the color scheme. So I bought both of them and they had a Monster Fighter wolfman for 18.74. I had a 10.00 off 50.00 purchase coupon so it came out to right around msrp. But I did get the series 7 CMF and project case.
