My friend, looks like you scored the new wave of markdowns.

This is the second store in Jacksonville, FL I have found them at over the past few weeks.

Series 7 was on the shelf as well - $2.97 and series 6 in the clearance section for $2.97. The series 5 just seemed so out of place on the regular shelf.
Which store?

For any of you who still have QARs or Hogwarts still at the local walmart in California, time to go check for further price drops! I went by my walmart today to find all 3 QARs and big Hogwarts gone after a price drop on HP and PotC in clearance yesterday, so I missed out on those. I did pick up some small Hogwarts and Hagrids Hut for $10 each as well as another AC mothership for $15. They also had some Whitecap Bays for $20 which I passed on. Oddly, the single BP was still $99 and London Escape was still $50. All the clearance Kreos went through another round as well for anybody looking for those. Be quick about it though as I arrived on the scene to find two other shoppers who seemed to have a heads up on it already and were also loading their carts up!

I would have picked up as many Whitecap Bays as possible at that price. Light bricks aren't cheap. Plus an army of Mermaids would be sweet.

Went to visit my brother over the weekend so I had plenty of opportunities for Walmart raids. One Walmart only had a few AC left all in mashed box with split seam :/

Another Walmart had 33 of the Hogswart set 4867 (only 1 had suspicious seal) and bought 32 of them. They also had one big HP castle set left but the seal also looks suspicious and left that. I left behind a dozen or so Knight Bus and smaller PotC sets they had, no larger PotC set left. No Cars 2 or SW stuff on sale, they either sold it out or hadn't marked down yet.

I did get to troll Walmart employee by putting 32 sets through a 20 items express lane. My excuse: it is one item set #4867. *whistles*

Nothing crazy in my East Coast store, just the AC motherships for $30 (unmarked). All PotC and HP have long since vacated the premises.

Had 2 shopping carts by the Pharmacy entrance filled with Legos. PotC mill for $15, Hagrid's hut for $15, PotC cabin and HP forbidden forest for $4 each, Cars oil rig $15, polybags for $1, series 5 MF for $1. Small Kreo sets $4-$5.

Today some of these sets were moved back to the Lego Isle. Specifically the polybags, MF's, and Kreo's.

I was incredibly tempted to, but my wife and I have a fairly generous (I feel) established monthly Lego budget and I'd already gone over that a bit by buying what I did. Plus I wasn't all that excited by the set itself and we had already picked one up for my sons some months before so I already have the mermaid figs for collection purposes.

My local Walmart in Montana hasn't reduced their already clearance items yet. But it's mostly HP and Potc stuff. No Black Pearl tho. =[

Keep watching it, more frequently depending on how badly you want it. From talking to managers who describe exactly that scenario, what that means is that it is discontinued, no shelf space is allotted it, but as of that time (day, week, month, is anybody's guess) there's no clearance budget for it.

Didn't find much, except the Knight Bus (as seen in the video below) for $25 and the Mill for $30. They also had the Cars Oil Rig set in the clearence aisle with a sticker, but it was at regular price.

Anyone have any luck in San Diego area? I am new to the hobby and I went to 3 today in East County and found very little stock of anything and only a couple of Mills and small Hogwarts in Grossmont for $30 each. Do you find that they rarely have anything that makes it to clearance or am I just to late? I was surprised to see such small Lego aisles in general.

Thanks for any input.

City of sd and major surrounding downtown area is awful for Walmart clearance in my experience. The good deals to be has are the 5 along the 78 up in Oceanside vista San Marcos area and the one in Poway. If you get a chance to be up in that area, hit up as many as you can.

Swung by my normal stomping grounds. Nothing. Found 1 POTC set which was full price. Which is odd, since every other set was sold out. Last week, they had a large selection, so I am assuming a sale happened.

Picked up 12 evil Dwarves for $1 each. Also got several star wars polybags for $1 each. I thought I really hit the jackpot when I spotted PotC QAR, since all the other PotC stuff has been 60-70% off. For some reason it rang up at full price :-(
