Who knew NCIX sold Lego?! I sure didn't until I saw the special for the Ninjago Skull Truck #2506 for $69.99(MSRP $79.99). Not much of a savings but it says free ground shipping and they're also giving away a $10 NCIX.com gift card while supplies last. They have other sets listed as well but most have inflated prices.

For those that do not know, NCIX is a computer store with locations primarily located in BC but recently expanded east into Ontario.

I've seen the Skull Truck still available in various Chapters locations here in Toronto. It's just matter of finding one during a time when they have a coupon out for a percentage off.

My local Chapters still has like 4 Hogwarts Expresses laying around at regular price.

I was at indigo here in Saskatoon today and they had 2 Millennium Falcons at regular price. that is 4 I've seen this week.

Hey guys, they seem to have baffling markups on battle packs, but I discovered that they are offering the new 9497 Republic Strike Class Starfitghter for pre-order at what MAY be below Canadian MSRP (It's only $5 more than the US price, and LEGO.ca doesn't have any pricing yet).

Based on the GBP and USD pricing, this appears to be a very good CAD price! 13.3 cents per piece.

What is regular price out there in Canada? Sure would like to get one of those as I missed out on it and just got back into collecting this past jan after 15 years in the dark ages.

you do know that its worth buying these at regular price ($109.99) and reselling them at $150 or higher if you want to hold on to them longer. You can sell three, take that profit (maybe $15-20 each after your selling fees but more profit if you don't use ebay) and keep one for yourself so in the end you get maybe 35-40% off that one you kept. Have to sometimes think outside the box on how to acquire sets and create the discount for yourself. There's someone selling this from BC on ebay as we speak...he's probably thinking the same thing!

I don't know why I even posted that message on this thread. It is irrelevant to the discussion. LOL.

But I'm not a reseller (yet). So I have no intention to buy the set and make some profit. Maybe when Chapters has like a 20% off all LEGO, then I may get one or two.
