School project about LEGO

Post by FRI » Thu May 17, 2012 12:35 am

We are students of computer sciences from Slovenia and we are testing out a business idea for a school project. Our idea is selling LEGO plans on a mobile platform. We appreciate your input. :-D

A couple of suggestions.

First, some of your questions allow multiple answers, but others do not, for example, where do you buy LEGO has two options and you can only choose one.

Secondly, I would never buy LEGO plans. At any price. With all the web resources out there that show off peoples great ideas, and the number of them that include plans or LDRAW files, it just wouldn't be of any interest to me.

That might just be my personal opinion though, so good luck with your project.

Survey Taken.

I have never bought plans. I either create it myself or just build the sets with the included instructions from Lego.

Though I did see instructions being sold on ebay for a few bucks on how to build a giant ewok village that I thought about getting once. I decided against it because I know I don't have the bricks required to build it, and I could probably figure out something similar just by looking at the picture of what they did and building my own version. (if I remember correctly it was multiple thousands of bricks).

I think I would rather it be my own version because it would end up being more personalized that way.

I never went through with that though. I'm still hoping we get an ewok village set in 2013 for the 30 year anniversary of jedi!

Survey taken, but I buy my LEGO both in store and online. It wont let me choose both though.
