Yes, there is a need. Brickarms and Brickforge offer complementary items to LEGO's own. Although it is not my own cup of tea as a LEGO purist, many people look to Brickarms and Brickforge to provide items that LEGO has not yet created/have chosen to not create. Both sites are very reputable and both receive quite a lot of business from LEGO fans worldwide. It would be beneficial to this site to provide information regarding both of these websites and their products.

Brickarms and Brickforge make their own custom LEGO bricks and accessories. They're extremely popular because they generally make more realistic weapons than LEGO does and ventures into the modern and Sci Fi warfare items, as well as filling in many existing gaps in other LEGO themes of items that people desperately wish that LEGO would make but has not.

I personally am a purist so I never use them but there popularity is huge among LEGO fandom.
