Most Valuable Minifig of all time?

Post by Zithy » Thu Jun 03, 2010 5:53 pm

Obviously none of the minifig collection ones will be even close. What is the rarest or most valuable Lego regular/current standard minifig? Has to be one found in a regular set, not the 1/2 bronze giveaways or something like that.

If you're looking or one found in a regular set then the Batman minifigures probably top out as the most valuable minifigures of all time. They're regularly sought out for collections.

However many minifigures that have been rereleased as chrome minifigures are the most valuable. There's C3 PO, Boba Fett, Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, etc. Chrome adds a lot of value to a minifigure.

The batman minifig doesn't even come close, the most expensive would probably be the boba fett from cloud city (printed arms). The average price for a batman minifig is $20-25, but the average price for a cloud city boba fett is over $100.

I say solid gold c3po is the most valuable. Only 5 have been made. The cheaper ones are the gold metalized ones but still very expensive.

Watto from epi 1 is rare too.

I agree with the Batman figures, the gold 3-PO and the Bespin Boba. And don't forget Jango Fett!

White Boba Fett was made in one production of 1000. The rarest production for any mini figure. Metallic Gold C3PO is not rare at 10,000 of them being made.

ya but white bf is so lame. who wants a plain empty mf? the demand for a chromegold c3po is high because not only is it shiny but it is also the most accurate of c3pos out there. the only problem with the official version is that TLC left a portion of the torso (directly under the mf's arms) unchromed. no idea why...
actually all their chrome mfs have that issue.

Isn't White BF being made available more broadly soon?
