AFOL Network

Is there a network of AFOLers in the Carolina area?
After going to Walmart about 40 times in the last two weeks I was wondering if there was some network in my area that we could share information and deals for local stores? For example: If I could find a half off clone tank I'd drive 2 hours or more to get it.

Would be really helpful if was some way could let each other know (text msg chain or email chain) about when each of us looked at a shelf at a particular store. Even 1 other person in driving range would make a huge difference.

I'm in Bakersfield, CA and I am looking for any AFOLs (Adult Fan Of Lego, for those don't yet know) in the area. Would like to see about maybe starting/joining a Club in this area or even just meeting others of similiar interest here! PM me or reply if interested.
