[MOC] Mira Flyer

Post by ncbarrett » Mon Jan 30, 2012 7:19 am

I built a ship for my Intergalactic girl.
Used some pieces from the Friends Stephanie's Convertible set.

It went through many, many rebuilds and variations, but I am happy how it finally turned out.

I, for one, am outraged that these LEGO Friends sets are dumbed down for girls and allow no opportunity to be creati--- wait....what's this? A super cool MOC using some Friends colors? How's that even possible? You mean you can build whatever you want with these things? ;-)

Love it. Very nice!

Awesome! I love how much certain sects of the AFOL community are embracing LEGO Friends. I would build something with the ones we have, but my daughter would never let me get near them.

I had to buy the set for myself, and gave my daughter the pieces I didn't use.

Very nicely done.

Did you use mostly all Friends bricks and parts or is it a mix and match of different bricks and parts along with Friends bricks and parts?

Mix and match, just needed Friends parts for color accents.

It actually contains quite a few parts from the Freeco speeder (8085).
