You might try the Target in Saugus. The Pyramid is still showing as 'available' there.

Yeah, I'm aware of some other Targets that were carrying them but I was just about done with the driving around for LEGO. Could you share the DPCI if you have it? It would make life easier. It hasn't been on the site in like a week.

Argh! I look at this thread, go back to Target, and... all gone. I know my Target is remodeling and it's possible they were just moved again, but I looked around a lot. They're probably sold out. At least I got a few Portals for $29.98 several weeks back.

went to my local target to check out this deal..... they had 18 of them but they didn't ring up on the price scanner it said item not found then I took it to a manager up at the front and they put it in and said it was 49.99 I even said that they were on sale for 74 at other stores but they wouldn't go for it. So I guess they just sit there until they either go cheaper or get donated.

Which target was this? Parsonage rd or the one in Piscataway?

If you are looking for them at that price, the Port Covington MD Wallmart still has about 6 left

What a depressing morning. All the stores must have went 70% off yesterday instead of Thursday as usual.
Aisles were empty. Anything left was being taken in the back and off limits to look at. Even some stores said they were in stock as of 7 AM didn't have any. Looks like Target clearance is over in my area.

They might not have been bought Octick, I phoned up my store today - they had a lot of Portal of Atlantis at 50% and I was waiting for 70%. Only to be told that they had salvaged them all over night.

Same thing here. One local Target had about 80 of the Cobra Statues on 50% for weeks. My wife went by today to see if they were 70% and they were all gone. An employee told her they went to salvage.

I've been watching a Freeing Dobey Harry potter set for a while at my target. It's been at 50% for 2 weeks. I know Thurs. are there mark down days. Does anyone have an opinion on if it will go 70% or am I stuck at 50%. It seems like it should have been marked down already.

Reading this thread, I get the feeling that Target's stock varies widely by area. Could be a city vs suburbs vs rural thing, or if there are many/any AFOLs in the area. I can only say that at my stores, everything is gone. No more clearance Lego on the shelves at all.

So my recommendation is that if you want it, get it at 50% because it might not make it to 70. If you want multiples of that set, maybe buy half the units you want now, and roll the dice and buy the rest later if they're still there.

Word is that Harry Potter is ending its run and stores won't be getting more stock in. So if you really want the set, more reason to get it now before it's gone forever.

Edit: Took a look at the set. It's super tiny. Those will get snapped up quickly. I really think you should buy it now at half off because another 20% isn't very much money more. Definitely buy them now.

^Buy them now, keep them sealed, then every now and then you should go back to Target and check if the prices have lowered. If they have, bring back your receipt and get the difference back in cash.

That doesn't work at every store. A lot of times they'll accept the return and restock it back on the shelves (usually not the same day as the return), then it can be purchased again.

Its the last one left. I really only want the Dobey figure and I'm being a cheapbutt trying to get it as cheap as I can.

That is my experience as well. They will not usually let you return an Item on Clearance and repurchase it at the lower price. They say once it's returned, it has to go back to the floor before you can repurchase it, which they hold until the next day.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

And this only makes sense. Otherwise, one could just clear out all their clearance merchandise on the first day of the clearance sale, then bring it back once the percentage hits to your liking.

not entirely true. I took a set back in morning, went back in afternoon and it was on clearance shelf, at a reduced rate.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!
