Death Star or Super Star Destroyer?

I may have a last 500$ to invest this year in Lego, and I'm really not sure what to buy. I've return to Lego ~3 months ago after a pause of 15 years, so I really don't know the market yet. For now, I've just bought small random stuff with good deals, nothing really interesting for profit.

What you would do with 500$?

My idea:
-Super Star Destoyer
-Death Star
-Imperial Shuttle
-Millenium Falcon
-Volkswagen T1 Camper Van

Already bought (for me, so I don't care if can't resell them)
-Winter Village Post Office
-Winter Village Bakery
-Medieval Market Village

Death Star and Millenium Falcon. Both sets should retain value.

Imperial Shuttle is good; however, I heard that it wasn't fun to play with.

Of your list, I would agree with legohunter.

Death Star is the oldest set of the bunch, and will most likely be retired semi-soon. (6mnths-yr if not shorter). It also has some awesome minifigs (and lots of them).

Imperial Shuttle is also a good option, however, like Legohunter stated... because of the extremely large wings, its playability is not very good... it is a great display set though.

All the others were just released so you have another year or more to save up to purchase those.

I'd go with the Death Star over the Super Star Destroyer. they are completely opposite - play model versus a display model. Both are good sets, but if you only have the money for one, go with the Death Star.

These guys are right. While I don't have the death star myself I think there is more time for the ssd to go down in price at least. I've only heard good things about the death star.

I finally bought a Death Star with my boxing day order. The other sets will wait a bit, but I fear they will be hard to find soon. Ex: Millenium Falcon and AT&T start to be hard to find locally
