Had been waiting for this release, as the initial info said the piece would be out January 1. However, I just noticed on lego.com that the date's been pushed back to Feb. 1. Drat.
Has anyone seen anything yet as to how this is going to be sold, given it's supposedly only going to be available to VIP members?

Nice catch. I haven't heard anything since the announcement. Also waiting on news about the VIP CMF set. November came and went with no announcement on the winners or maybe I missed it.

Not sure if this is true but I've heard that February 1, 2012 ordering is only for VIP members' online ordering and that you'll still be able to get the 10230 Mini Modulars on January 1, 2012 at the local Lego B\M store.
