I may be doing some wishful thinking here, but I'm looking for someplace I could find acrylic display cases like the ones used in the front windows of Lego stores. I have a glass-front Ikea shelving unit where I have some of my cooler Lego sets, but the biggest think I can fit in there is the Imperial Flagship. I have the Tower Bridge and would love to build it, but I'd A) have to find somewhere to put it and B) have to keep dust and other stuff off of it on a regular basis. I looked online to see if I could find a fabricator somewhere that would build one of the one-side open clear cases like in the Lego store so I could place the piece on a table and then cover it, but I'm having no luck.
Any insights on how to display larger pieces like this (short of the TV wallmount I saw on FBTB - very cool!) would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
Display cases for large sets
Re: Display cases for large sets
Maybe try a local place that does mirror an glass work? Call them up and ask if they do display cases. Or maybe a trophy store.
Also, fish tanks come to mind. Maybe ask an aquarium place.

Re: Display cases for large sets
I decided that the Tower Bridge needed to not be in a case.
Didn't want to distract from its awesomeness.
It doesn't get too terribly dusty.

I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

You could have one made out of acrylic?
