Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
I picked up Rameses Pyramid for $9.99, is that a decent game or no? I just opened Race 3000 and it is lame, IMO. BTW, what is the retail price for it? Brickset is showing $9.99, but that isn't right is it?
They also had Champion for $17.50, which I had just bought at B&N for a few bucks more since I didn't think I would find it at Target on clearance. Has anyone played that game?

Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
race 3000 was like $19.99 at the beginning, i think. all games are now half priced or soon to be half priced. if you have the patience, i would just wait it out. in fact, i'm going to return all the ramses i bought.atmail35 wrote:I picked up Rameses Pyramid for $9.99, is that a decent game or no? ramses is mostly a memory game. it's okay but may be too confusing for little kids. and not very entertaining imo. it's so-so as a parts pack. it's only good for the 2x2 jumper tile and the large tan baseplate.
champion is a little more entertaining. it's a game which pits the contestants in a series of semi-challenging social game, like build and stack, brick tossing, color-code guessing, etc. it's not as hard as creationary and should be easier to play. it's not very good as a parts pack since mostly you just get 2x4 bricks in rare colors. you can easily get them at PaB for better value.
Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Thanks for the feedback. I actually was asking about the MSRP on Ramses, but I tossed it in after the fact so it looks like I was asking about Race 3000. What is the MSRP on Ramses, is it $19.99?natelite wrote: race 3000 was like $19.99 at the beginning, i think. all games are now half priced or soon to be half priced. if you have the patience, i would just wait it out. in fact, i'm going to return all the ramses i bought.

Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
The two Target by me are the worse for clearance. They have nothing. They never had the SW poly. Ramses Pyramid is $31!! no discount there. The game is confusing as hell. Check the review section.
Anyway, I'm going to hit the target store in NJ.

The retail price of Ramses Pyramid is $29.99 and Ramses Returns is $14.99 if I recall both correctly.atmail35 wrote: Thanks for the feedback. MSRP on Ramses I think was actually thirty bucks, way too much (as are most Lego prices).

Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Ramses seems to be $9.99 full retail, which is what I also saw in Target, no clearance sticker.

Target in Chester, VA had no clearance Lego I could find, though their overall selection is not great. Palpatine's and the Jedi's shuttles were full price.

Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Ramses Pyramid was originally $29.99 full retail. shop.lego.com seems to have just reduced it in the past day or two to $9.99. Not sure why it's not showing up on the Sales and Deals page. Banana Balance has the same thing going on; it's now $4.99 at shop.lego.com, but not on Sales & Deals.hardtravelinghero wrote:Ramses seems to be $9.99 full retail

Yes, those are S@H prices, not Target prices. Sorry for any confusion.

Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Today I got 1 Ramses pyramid for only $4.99! Also one Banana Balance for FREE! I got them for free and for half the clearance price because I used two $5 off LEGO coupons in the holiday toy book thing. Very happy with this purchase. I think $4.99 is well worth the price for all the tan coloured pieces and the tan baseplate.

Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Since it was labeled $4.49, I purchased it with the coupon for $5 off LEGO from the coupon booklet I got for free from the Toy section.Ice wrote:How you get Banana Balance for free? Thats an unbelievable deal!

I saw the coupon booklet too, but doesn't the coupon says that it only works on the heroica games?Legobrandon wrote:Since it was labeled $4.49, I purchased it with the coupon for $5 off LEGO from the coupon booklet I got for free from the Toy section.Ice wrote:How you get Banana Balance for free? There is also a $5 giftcard with purchase of $50 in toys glued to the back of the catalog, but I got that in the mail...that's what I thought you were talking about at first. I'll have to look for the coupon you're discussing...

Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
I tried this and it was a no-go for me. The cashier read the specific items it was good for.Legobrandon wrote:Ice wrote:I saw the coupon booklet too, but doesn't the coupon says that it only works on the heroica games?Legobrandon wrote:Since it was labeled $4.49, I purchased it with the coupon for $5 off LEGO from the coupon booklet I got for free from the Toy section.Ice wrote:How you get Banana Balance for free? A part of me feels bad, and the other part I am happy for getting a good deal.
