^^ LOL I guess I shouldn't have bothered to scan them in! I have to admit that I haven't explored the MBA site yet
The sheet is cool, it's a fold out, glossy (like the calendar) and double sided.
How do you guys plan on storing these things? I actually save the monthly calendars and really should get a binder and those sheet protector things (so I don't have to hole punch them), but right now everything is in a pile.

got an email saying next set on its way and website has unlocked robot theme.
I have to admit, this is one I am really excited about.

I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

I also got the e-mail...we still haven't touched Kit 2! We need to get on these. I hope they pack them better and not in the bubble mailer so it doesn't get destroyed!

Yeah, I got the email, too - glad to see we get an alert with each installment. I'm more excited for the Robot kit than I was for the Microscale kit (though that one was cooler than I anticipated).

My wife told me my set just arrived at home in a box.
Sounds like LEGO learned from set #2

^^ I was coming to post that our set came in a "box"...like what B&N uses to ship books, big ole cardboard wrapped around and sealed with tape. Yay as the set was undamaged....and they enclosed the B1G1 Free Legoland coupon.

Yeah, the box is the perfect size - just enough room for the manual and bag. They really went back to square one and pulled out all the stops to ensure Kit 3 arrived in great shape.

The box is so much better than the padded envelope they used for the second kit. I wonder if that many people complained after Kit 2, that they went back to the drawing board on how to ship these kits.

From what I recall they ended up sending out a lot of replacement Kit 2 handbooks, so I think the added expense of the shipping box vs. the padded envelope was mitigated by how much more expensive it was to replace handbooks.

Does anyone have the AUGUST tip of the month that they can scan in and post? I finally remembered to ask when I was in last week and August was all gone, but Sept weren't being handed out yet. Or is it on-line?

I think I got the August one when I got the October calendar, but it got lost in the car on the way home. I'll have to check for it.

It's on my to-do list. :). I'll see if I can get to it tonight.

I am pretty sure I remember reading that the tip of the month IS available via logging into brick master academy online, however I have not confirmed this myself as my MBA stuff is at home and I'm halfway across the country.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Was the alternate building instruction sheet for Kit 1 the tip for that month? Kit 1 came out in May, was there a May tip in addition to the instruction sheet? Was there a June tip? What about July? I feel so behind!
The October store calendar specifically says the 20th is the day to get October's tip of the month. Looks like the September calendar also specified the 20th.

I think July was the first month they issued a tip. I'll have to dig out the older calendars to check, but I'm 99% sure July was when they started.
ETA: I looked back a page and
sidersdd posted July's tip as well.

, it's on page 5 of this thread.

I'm pretty sure July and August are all that have been available so far. I can post September when I pick it up, although I may not visit the store until October 1.

If LEGO follows suit with the previous kits, those of us who ordered the subscription prior to the initial release should be getting an email about the first kit in Level 2 being shipped any day now... Can't wait to get the Level 2 figure!
