The buy one get one 50% off continues at TRU.  It is valid on construction (excludes Star Wars) and board games.  The good news is that additional Rewards R Us rewards should be issued on September 14th.

I just signed up for rewards during the last BOGO event. The items posted but it only gave me half credit. Does anyone know why? I checked the FAQs but didn't see anything. For example the grand emporium was 109.99 and I got 55 dollars in rewards credit.

TRU's program isn't the best, but slightly better than nothing.

You only receive half credit for buying anything on sale/promo.

If you read the exceptions, it states that any discounted item only gives you $0.50 on the dollar.

Ugh, bummer. Thanks for clarifying. This program really stinks. My measly five dollar certificate for 300 dollars in purchases earned me 5 bucks in reward money that won't be available until November 11th, and it has an expiration date of ?? Who knows yet. Geez TRU

Well, there is a brighter spot. Due to how the B1G1 50% off works, you'll get full credit for the B1, then only half credit for the G1 50% off. So, say you bought 2x $100 sets (say MMV and the Shuttle). You'd get 125 rewards points (100 + 1/2 of the $50 cost of the second set), which, granted, isn't quite enough to get you to the 150 needed, but it's better than only getting half credit for each set.

Well the bummer is that both purchases were for a percent off. One was the save 25 plus 20% off facebook coupon and the other was the spend 150 save 40 deal. So I am not getting full credit for either set. Oh well, 5 bucks is 5 bucks but I won't be going out of my way to spend money here. Shoot I have 55 dollars in Lego money that I forgot about until last night. I better check the expiration on that.

Yeah the tru rewards are only for a couple weeks. I have lost out on some rewards because you can't use the rewards on line

The Facebook coupon was limited availability (both times) and the latest coupon was pulled (fully claimed) more than a week ago.

Managed to get Grand Emporium and Diagon Alley yesterday.

I'm waiting for that giraffe to have his dang birthday already, before getting the larger stuff which doesn't pair well. Should be next weekend I would think (was weekend of Sep. 24 last year). Hopefully we'll see the B2G1 then.

Not sure if anyone answered this. There's even more hoops to jump through. When you do get your reward money, I think there's only about a two week window to use it in. And if you earn, say $10, they'll issue you two $5 coupons with non-overlapping time periods so that you can't use them both at once.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But all in all, like someone else said, the TRU rewards are only "slightly better than nothing at all".

The couple times I've gotten the cash coupons, I end up just using them to buy an impulse set or something.

yup, me too. i grabbed the two sets. waiting for pet shop or maersk train to appear. hopefully during the dang long neck's b'day or bricktober. :-P
