There is also Voltron:The Third Dimension from the late 1990's and there is the all-new Voltron Force TV Series.

I feel that Spongebob is more family friendly also (but not by much). I'd never let my seven year old watch R&S. It's been years since I've seen an episode of R&S but I found the humor if you call it that to be tasteless and I don't want my child watching stuff where one guy is mean and says "You idiot" all the time. The animation had a sort of harshness to it also. I felt the same way 20 years ago when I saw it in highschool. I don't know how to describe it better than that but it was a cartoon designed for highschool and college not little kids.

Of course SB is pushing my limits also. My son has been watching SB off and on for a long time now and it's always stupid but most of the time it's sort of innocent. Unfortunately, there will be the occasional booger or vomit or something gross "joke" that I just don't think is appropriate. My boy was acting up last year and I took SB away for a few months. The class clown antics disappeared when SB did.

I vote no to both. Phineas&Pherb = good cartoon for kids but not good for lego sales.

Cartoons as a whole tend to lack the substance that lego is looking for. They either rely on gross or inappropriate humour , or meanness.
I recognize there are exceptions, this is just what I see from my experience

Just because Ren & Stimpy is nasty doesn't mean it can't come out in LEGO!
