Yeah, the coding is all screwed up - it's a mess

Apparently we can't please everyone here, sorry!Luciant wrote:Bad decision IMO. Definately won't be able to get any of the "Hot Sellers" now... wonder how long it will be before Slickdeals cleans out everything good. Ah well, do what ya gotta do.atmail35 wrote:OK, front paged...my apologies, but my kid started school this week and I've been "off the grid" for a day or two.
Does anyone know how long this offer is good for? I looked at the TRU details, but didn't see an end date.

Apparently, I win again!
Went to my local toysrus where I got the fire brigade and emporium at, and bought the Battle of Endor + Queen Anne's Revenge.
I got 1/2 off Battle of Endor...and the manager accidentally took off 40% from Queen Anne's Revenge (~$50) instead of $40. He realized the mistake and said "oops, I don't feel like redoing it. Oh well!" and let it go. I paid $150 total for both sets AFTER TAX!

Re: [US] TRU $40 off $150
I noticed in-store today that the signs said it was B1G1 50% off OR $10 off $50, $40 off $150. So if you just want one big $149.99 set I think it works well.
Watch the shipping on line, I was putting stuff in my cart to see how it wors and with a lot of big sets, it pushes you over $20 in shipping and the free shipping is up to $20 only. On-line it seems better to place separate orders and do the $40 off $150, I think.

I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, true store pick up might work, but honestly I can't find $500 in LEGO that I "need" at the moment. I have already bought a bunch of the sets we wanted and I have to save up for Bricktober and the Lego Store deals at the B&M storencbarrett wrote:or if possible have some of the pick up at store.

I've played with this in my TRU shopping cart a number of ways. In the end, all the $500+ stuff ended up costing an additional $25 in shipping. I'm with the other poster here - we are heading into 3-4 months of deals, so I need to pace myself!

Re: [US] TRU $40 off $150
Everything worked out no problem. I picked up my red train without difficulty last night. Also took advantage of the 25 off 100 to grab afew more serts. I also got them to add the HP polybag that I had to remove from the cart online.markg11cdn wrote:Just went and tried again and got it to go through. Paid with Paypal and used the store address as my billing address. I hope this works out for me :)
Re: [US] TRU $40 off $150
So if I buy the Republic Frigate ($130) and the Geonosian Starfighter ($33), it would make it $166-40=126, So you essentially be getting the frigate for regular price and the starfighter for $6?
Re: [US] TRU $40 off $150
That's really strange, because I did exactly what I posted. I had:PTSandman wrote:This did not work for me until I went over $500.stbowena wrote:The trick is that each item can only count for one discount. This means that the two highest priced items will be used for the BOGO 50% and after that items will count towards the $40 off $150, $25 of $100, etc.
I had in my cart:
Fire Brigade
Grand Imporium
(added the HP bag set)
I then added Millenium Falcon. Nothing
I then added Hoth Base. Nothing
I then added SuperCar, which set the total over $500, in which the $25 off was applied to the Millenium Falcon.
I removed the Hoth Base, bringing the total under $500, and I no longer received $25 off the MF.
Alien Mothership $60
Jet Copter Encounter $40 ($20 with BOGO 50%)
Geonosian Starfighter $33 (triggered $5 off of $30, applied to Alien Mothership)
Deep Sea Raider $30 ($63 total, excluding BOGO)
UFO Abduction $30 ($93 total excluding BOGO)
Angler Attack $20 (changed $5 off of $30 to $25 off of $100, still applied to Alien Mothership)
Tripod Invader $20 ($133 total excluding BOGO)
Space Alien Defender $10 ($143 total excluding BOGO)
Lightning McQueen $7 ($150 total excluding BOGO, actually slightly less because of the true .99 pricing)
Alien Striker ($5, triggered $40 off of $150, applied to Alien Mothership)
HP trolley $0
for a total of $254.90 in purchases for $194.90 plus tax. Note that I did end up with 10 Items, but the discounts were stacking when I only had three sets and I only ended up with 10 items because I was trying to get to $150 and had a limited selection of cheap sets that I wanted. I guess I was just lucky that they were still stacking when I checked out, which was just before I wrote the original post. I guess it's moot at this point in any case.
