Death Star is back in stock at TRU. I just placed my order!! It came to $353.xx after taxes. On sale for $359.99 minus $25 for spending over $100, plus free shipping. Not a bad deal.

If you don't end up getting the Death Star from amazon, you could get this one from ebay.

or this UCS Falcon for cheap, 198 Available!

Is this for real? Seems too be too good to be true...Anyone have any completed transactions for this Death Star on Amazon? I've heard lots of speculation but no closures or confirmations yet.

Wow lot of folks bought both of these sets, hope they don't get hosed over. It is a really good deal, maybe they fell off the back of the truck? :)

WOW     These are either FAKE or STOLEN.
I have yet to see any information on FAKE copies of Lego's and would really like to see what they are like and how to tell if they are FAKE. If anyone has a link or real information regarding this please PM me or post here.

I tend to think these are from a scam of either they don't have the items listed or they are using the stolen CC scam at least for the UCS Death Star but for the UCS Millenium Falcon I think they are either FAKE or a scam with rocks in a box. The prices really give that away especially since its listed as a BIN with free shipping too, come on...  :lol:no  :what?:
Maybe some legitimacy if it was at least a starting price to go up (auction style).

Any way you could win but you would probably loose like the 11 and 15 ppl would BIN already.

The old 'look what I found on the side of road deal' :-D or five figure discount or rather ten figure discount due to the weight :-D

This is definitely a scam. There has been similar seller appearing on ebay recently doing the exactly the same thing. Item location based out of HK, 100% feedback but if you look at it, most of them are penny order with free shipping, and not of them are for any of the item the seller is currently selling. Once all the items are sold, there will be a waiting period ... i.e. people waiting to receive their goods. They even sent you a China Post tracking numbers as if they actually sent out something. However, come a week or so, -ve feedback will start appearing. Initially, -ve feedback will be like seller does not response to email. Then suddenly within a couple of days, you will see like 20 -ve feedbacks, where buyers would complain they receive boxes of bricks/stones, some rubbish, etc. Then the seller will set the feedback to private where you will not see what people is screaming about .. then after a while, the seller will be de-registered from eBay.

Well .. this is based on personal experience. I am in the process of claiming back my purchase from Paypal right now. The DS then was at £99 with free Shipping! :(

46 more Death Stars in stock. At first I was hoping this was just a boosted shipment getting offloaded online so minimal risk to anyone buying, now I am concerned about anyone who purchased anything from here.

No, I don't believe him. This is a classic scammer response. Hope no one loses hard earned cash to this POC.

I agree I still believe this is too good to be true however with the low prices you would have to think that they did indeed get a ton of orders from ppl thinking it is too much of a sweet deal to pass up.
AKA suckers or not...

I'm still waiting to hear from anyone here who jump the gun or bit the bullet and bought something from this seller and if it was legit or not. (FAKE OR STOLEN $$$)

If it's indeed a FAKE please post pics so we can all see how to spot the FAKE stuff - also I just wanna see what they look like so if you prefer PM me the pics. THX

Of course the first few orders could be just that legit and than the next few hundred ppl who buy are the ones screwed with FAKE Lego or STOLEN $$$.

My 2 pennies advice: Save your $$$ and wait for the deals from legit retailers - there are few - you just need a little patience. With the holidays coming up there should be a few good ones coming up soon.

Sad to say that a lot of buyers had bought MF and DS from the seller last week. As a newbie, i will not buy from third party seller again on Amazon. Better save our money for other upcoming sale.

It's such an obvious scam. Shame on Amazon for now being more responsive to the alerts we've been sending them.

Update:

Just got off the phone with Amazon, the woman on the phone was probably unable or not willing to investigate the issue globally. I guess Amazon's policy is...it's okay to allow sellers to rip off their customers as long as the customer is okay with it and doesn't file a claim. Who knows? I filed a claim and now I'm on hold with my bank to find out if I can dispute/reverse the charges on my card.

Will NEVER EVER buy from Amazon again.

The A to Z Guarantee says "For Amazon Marketplace and Merchant orders made on the Amazon.com website, you must wait 3 calendar days past the maximum estimated delivery date for an order OR 30 days from the order date, whichever is sooner. "

They do this because people would just file claims on legitimate sellers without giving items a chance to show up. Wait until 3 days after the last day it was supposed to arrive THEN file your claim with Amazon and you should get your money back in full.
