[USA] Series 5 found at TRU

Got my 17 from my TRU pre-order. We got only 9 unique figs out of the 16 so I'm still on the hunt. I think I'll buy more if TRU has them when I go in next and then return the dups I got today when I find the additional ones we need.

I should have just bought more at the time but I think I was using this as filler to get to the $100 threshhold for free shipping or something and wasn't thinking too much about it.

SERIES 5 IS AT FIVE BELOW IN NJ! I went and found two boxes picked up 15 for my brother and 17 for me, got two partial sets 13/16 one set and 12/16 one set, plus an extra(s) gladiator, 2 lizards, monkey girl, dwarf, 2 royal guards, I'm going back to complete the sets except for the dancer because no one likes her. lol BUT head to local five belows to find series 5 before there gone. On a plus note they had like 5 boxes of series 4 there too.

went back and the total haul is :one completed set of 16, one set of 15 (no dancer as I stated before) 3 extra lizards, an extra gladiator, extra egyptian queen(cleopatra?), extra graduate, 2 extra royal guards, 2 extra dwarfs, extra monkey and trainer....i think thats it. Noticed that the two freshly opened boxes only had 3 gladiators, found that odd. so 42 figures and 130ish dollars later lego shopping is done until the winter post office set comes out in oct.

If these are available all over the USA and Europe, I think London Drugs, or any other Canadian store that carries the minifigures should get shipments in by now.

How much did did it cost for you to purchase a full box of 60?

Got a box plus the Overpriced HP Poly bag ($4.99) for $198.22 after tax.

I ordered 60 figs from Tru.com with no box. so far I did find 5 royal guards. so my guess is the distribution is correct. I paid $157. $25 off for using master card and free shipping. I think it came out to $2.57 a fig.

How much did did it cost for you to purchase a full box of 60?

I haven't noticed any retailer (Lego store, Target, or TRU) offering a discount on buying a box (i.e. there is no volume discount or pricing). Usually it is 60 x the price (2.99).

I went to the Dedham MA TRU today and there were no minifigures to be found. :(

I went to the one in Auburn on Sunday and they only had 9 packs left. Six were easily spotted in the box right when you walk in and three had been stashed behind some other stuff as I was walking around. I got 8 unique minifigs from the nine packs-so I was very happy. Now all I need are the popular ones :P.

Oh, and there were none left after I left...

TRU by me has 3 boxes left of series 5 at $3.49. wonder why they weren't on sale like series 6.
