Mace Windu Starfighter (7868)

My son really wants this but it's not available in the US yet (other than through quite inflated prices on ebay, etc.) Does anyone know if/when this makes it's way to the US? I have friends in Canada that I could ship to but from what I can tell it's not for sale in North America yet. Any insight on this?

I think rumor is it is due in June, and will be a Walmart exclusive, and of course Shop @ Home.

thanks, it'd be nice if they release it here state-side. The set looks like a pretty good value at list. Not so much at $100 ebay.

Usually you don't have to worry about something being a Europe only exclusive set, especially if you are in the States. If they do release it only in Europe it almost always comes out just a little bit later. It just takes a little bit of patience.

The only exclusions to this rule are some Japan exclusive sets (I think there have been two or three) and some tiny impulse sets, usually with the Daily Mirror promotions or specific toy store small impulse sets.

Probably will be released the same time as the summer LEGO Star Wars wave.

Well rest assured, we finally have Mace's Starfighter on this side of the pond. It's resting safely in "The Daddy Store" for my son :)

Have you found it at a B&M store, or just at S@H? I've looked at Walmart and the LEGO store and still haven't seen it.

I've found it at a couple of my local Walmarts, and I'm in Canada where we're generally a couple of weeks behind the US. If you haven't seen it yet, you should be seeing it very, very soon.

I have yet to see this one in the "wild" yet. The Naboo fighter is definately a Target exclusive, exculsively stocked next to last years Bane speeder..

While trying to look for a $10 Ramses Pyramid, I found this set at a Wal-Mart in Canada too.

Also, check out Target this week as they are having a sale on all SW sets and not just the ones in newspaper AD but other SW sets as well.
