editing posts

A few days ago I was able to edit posts, it seems that this is no longer possible, was this intentional? As I would really like the opportunity to go back and fix a typo.

edit: I just notice that I am able to modify this post, is there a time limit on edits?

Yes theres a time limit for editing posts. Posts are permanent after 5 minutes.
