10218 Pet store/town house

I just found out about 10218 Pet store available picture over ebay and only available instruction. I was forecast of new modular building for 2011 that plan to have post office which I would like get one but LEGO has change to Pet store/town house. I will buy one and see how I like it or not.

I dunno, I kind of like. I like the fact you can break it up and arrange it however you like. I could seeing getting a couple of these and modding up the 2nd one a bit to extend the "neighborhood"...

Ordered mine and the status is "shipped" Can't wait to see it (in the box that is) I have about 20 lego sets now that I haven't opened yet, which is fueling my addiction to keep collecting until my son gets old enough for my wife and I to build a massive lego city with him.

The interior of the Pet Shop looks a bit blah. Not getting this one.

I noticed that the front and back of the box as well as both instruction manual covers show 'greenery' in front of the top right window of the reddish building along the ledge. But it's not in the instructions and you aren't given enough 1x1 round green dots to add it on yourself. Is this normal?

Also nothing new here but the front of the box makes the awning above that window look white - not dark gray like it is when built. Personally I think white looks better :)

I saw the set built in-store the other day, and it was not nearly as impressive as the Green Grocer/Emporium or Fire Brigade. For some reason it was not screaming to me, "buy me, please buy me". I think I'll wait.

I wonder why order 20 lego sets? are you try to 20 times bigger of original set?????

i dont think he meant 20 pet stores, more like 20 different sets. i have like 100s all unopened because i don't have the space to display once built.
