Lego Star Wars Problems

Post by clock4me » Tue Dec 29, 2009 10:18 pm

Some lego star wars sets are cool and great. But virtually almost every star wars sets now have flick fire missles and stickers (even limited edition ones). Its a big disappointment that flick fire missles are useless and usually don't shoot far (exception republic shuttle). Another thing is some of the set in the box art is not exactly the one you get when your finish building. The V-19 torrent looks it can stand parallel in landing mode but the actual thing it tilts a bit

Anyone have any disappointments or problems with their lego star wars sets?

I agree with you on the flick missles. The sith infitraltor has horrible missles and missles keeps falling off in that set.

Sticker !! Very disappointed on all the star wars nowadays even limited edition when they all have stickers. We get stickers on everything that has signs or different colours. No more printed pieces even when price has went up significantly :?

I agree completely. On the Hyena droid bomber, the box art shows the arm attachments the wrong way round. Also, when I stood the model up, it wobbled a lot if I bumped my desk slightly. It has fallen over several times and four of the double clip-plates for the wings have now broken. The plastic is really weak on those pieces in particular. The most stupid wrong artwork was on the back cover of the 7658 Y-Wing instruction booklet. Pieces are discoloured and the engine pods are even upside down!

I never noticed that but i'll have a look at it. It does wobble a bit but not too much.
Some of the box arts really make the set look better than what it actually is. In particular, the mini's. Mini tie fighter has much longer wings compared to the art. Colours are a bit different on some of the lego sets.
