For some reason, this was a limited release. I live in the United States and it seems we never get limited releases. But for some reason I have two. Anyways, onto review. The Alpha Team Aquatic Mech is an Alpha Team set released in 2002 that contains 162 parts and the Dash Justice Minifigure. It cost £14.99 in the UK.

The set has an odd design for a Mech. It has two legs, but they do not have joints-they move in a similar way to a Rock Raiders walker. The legs are solid, but they don't have hinges, so it's a tradeoff. There are places for storage on the legs. The torso is very odd, using an interesting windshield piece and a lot of lights. It's arms are a bit blocky and elongated, and could have been made differently. The ends work well, and the claw is a nice piece to see again. The back of the mech has propellers, which either eliminate the need for feet or are useless. You decide.
There's also ROV, the aquatic version of Teevee. It isn't special, although it is a refreshingly short build. The printed part is nice, but otherwise it's a tad boring.
Minifigure
The Minifigure, Dash Justice, has the same face as the previous Dash but a new torso. The torso is awesome and detailed, and the head is...ugh. It's not BAD, but the eyes are gray (what the heck?) and the eyebrows set make the eyes seem worse. Also, it has a standard visor piece. While not bad, per se, it could have a Diver's Mask visor, which would have looked better.
Building
The build wasn't particularly hard, but it wasn't simple either. They used a few odd techniques, and there were a few unexpected things. Overall, it's not the most fun though-they could have made it more challenging.
Parts
The parts are quite nice. It has four rare arm pieces, a claw, two trans neon green buzzsaws, lots of trans neon green, a printed piece on ROV, two printed "suit" things, some "boxes", printed round 2x2 "sewer grille" tiles, some printed slopes, and more. Other rare parts include the parts onto which the arms attach, the propeller "hubs", the stretchy yellow things for which I have no name, and the plant. There is also a saw shark in black, so that was a nice addition.
